  • When should my first appointment be for dress alterations?

    We typically advise clients to schedule their initial appointment approximately two to three months prior to their wedding date. This timeline allows for sufficient adjustments and fittings.
  • Can you complete the alterations within two weeks?

    Yes, we can accommodate rush alterations within a two-week timeframe. However, please note that this service will incur an additional rush fee.
  • How many appointments are usually needed for dress alterations?

    Our standard process requires a minimum of two appointments for dress alterations. However, if your dress requires custom work or complex modifications, additional appointments may be necessary.
  • Does the pinning fee include the pins?

    The pinning fee covers the labor involved in the pinning process. It does not include the cost of the pins themselves.
  • Do you offer consultations?

    We do offer consultations on all of our business days. There is a nominal fee of $50 for this service.
  • How long is my first fitting?

    We allocate one hour for your initial fitting appointment. However, the actual duration may vary depending on the complexity of the alterations required.
  • Should i bring my veil? Should i bring my shoes?

    We request that you bring your shoes to the fitting. While you're welcome to bring your veil, it's not essential unless alterations to the veil are needed.
  • Who may attend my appointments? Do you allow food or drink at the shop?

    You're welcome to bring two to four guests to your appointments. While children are permitted, we advise against bringing them due to the nature of the fitting process. For the protection of our garments, we do not allow food or beverages in our shop.
  • Do you work with custom pieces? Can you alter a vintage dress that a grandmother wore during her wedding?

    We certainly work with custom pieces and vintage dresses. Our services include adding sleeves, creating jackets for cooler weather weddings, and incorporating bows. We take particular pleasure in restoring and altering vintage wedding gowns.
  • Do you alter mother of the bride dresses?

    Indeed, we offer alterations for mother of the bride dresses. Our expertise extends to a wide range of formal wear, including wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom attire, and debutante gowns.
